YOUNGSTERS at Much Marcle Primary school made 90 kites to celebrate the Queens 90th birthday, and a very patriotic and fun occasion was the outcome.
Head teacher, Lorna Harrison said: "The children flew the kites on the school’s playing fields on Her Majesty’s birthday.
"The union flag was flown while the children sang the national anthem accompanied by the school’s flautists."
She added: "Neighbours came out of their houses to listen to the children sing."
