IT was lovely to see a whole page of letters in last week’s Reporter from people living in the Ledbury area, and to read so many positive stories about local events and community initiatives in the paper.
Talking of community initiatives and last week’s letters, the Love Ledbury group would like to apologise to Charlotte Sutton for the distress caused to her on visiting the public toilets we have re-opened in Bye Street, as commented in her letter of last week.
Sadly, it is the case that public toilets are sometimes left in conditions we would not wish to find them.
On this particular occasion the automatic flush system malfunctioned.
When this was reported to us, it was quickly fixed and the loos are working normally again.
We would like to thank local residents and businesses for their continued support for this community-led initiative and also to congratulate our colleagues in the Price Rupert Green Community Group for their successful Halloween event – all #VeryLedbury!
