I WAS interested to see (Ledbury Reporter, December 19) that Ledbury Town Council is considering raising the contribution to the Citizens Advice Bureau (CAB).
On the other hand, I notice that the Herefordshire CAB is currently campaigning (petition on their website) to try to persuade the county council not to cut their funding completely.
There appears to be a huge contrast between the views of the elected members of the town council and the paid officials of the county council (some of whose salaries match the CAB funding) regarding the value of the service offered by CAB to the community.
I wonder who has got it right.
