YOUR coverage of the recent goings-on in Ledbury Town Council were a masterpiece of descriptive journalism, which entranced me and other of your readers south of the border with Gloucestershire.

There were questionable e-mails, police called as bouncer, exchanges of incivilities, questionable payments, allegations of misconduct – it had it all.

Why did Richard Hadley resign from the council?

Surely it would have been better to fight his corner inside the council?

This whole episode, so vividly conveyed, gives the impression of a bar-room brawl – without the beer.

More, please!
