THE outrage expressed by some over the introduction of parking charges at Bodenham Lake is mind-boggling (online: Parking charges to come into force at Herefordshire nature reserve, May 11).

Do they realise the site isn’t publicly funded? Who do they think should pay for their access? Honestly, how are people that entitled?
Hopefully, the boycotters are the same crowd who don’t pick up their dog’s poo, litter, ignore signage, and vandalise fences and hides.
