BROMSGROVE Sporting will host a memorial football match in memory of former player Tom Jones, whose body was found in the River Severn last month.
Sporting will face the Royal Air Force Football Association at the Victoria Ground in Birmingham Road on Tuesday, October 16, with proceeds going to Tom's family.
Manager Brendan Kelly said: "Tom represented the club from the under-12s to the under-18s so everybody knew who he was.
"He played for Sporting for a number years and he deserves a tribute.
"As a club we can't imagine what the family are going through but if we can help in a small way then we want to do that."
Kick off will be at 7.45pm. Tickets, available on the gate, cost £5 for adults, £3 for concessions, £1 for five to 17-year-olds and free for under-fives.
