BREWING enthusiasts in Redditch and Alcester are being encouraged to have their homemade beers sampled by experts from a multi award-winning brewery.

Alcester-based Purity Brewing Company is launching a beer club where brewers can try each other’s beers and receive feedback on their own creations from peers and the Purity brew team.

A spokesman said: "If you’re a budding brewer, mashing in your man-cave, or sparging in your shed, grab a few bottles and see what the experts think.

"What’s more, Purity has committed to brewing the most popular beer on its pilot kit, so one lucky homebrewer could see themselves part of an official collaboration with one of the most popular breweries in the UK."

An event has been planed to launch the club at the brewery, in Great Alne, on Wednesday, October 24 from 6.30pm.

Purity MD, Paul Halsey, said: “We’re really excited about this one and can’t wait to see local people come together to share their brews and brewing experiences.

"We’ve named the event in honour of our popular beer UBU, itself inspired by our dearly departed canine friend, so we’re looking forward to the stories behind local people’s own creations and ultimately joining forces with somebody to brew the event winner together on our new pilot kit.”
