AN up-and-coming Redditch musician has shared plans for a new release, set for next year.
For the last few years Sam Ostler, who counts his influences as Elton John and U2, has been earning a name for himself playing a number of high profile shows.
He has also had his material played on BBC radio.
Following on from his debut She’s Leaving and time spent honing his skills on the road he has announced plans for either a new EP or full album.
Sam, who plays piano, said he can't wait for people to hear the new material.
"Since I finished my tour last year with the Stylistics I have been writing and recording a new EP/album which will be released next year," he said.
"It will comprise new songs I've written and recorded, some whilst on the road, and we will also be doing a live track with a session band.
"It will be available next year on download and physical copies."
To support the release Sam will be doing a 12-date tour, which he is currently planning.
"It will be across the country playing in all sorts of venues so people can come and watch." he said.
"I can't wait to get out there."
