ENQUIRIES have been launched after a car was abandoned by its occupants after it smashed into a lamp post in Wall Heath.
The collision happened just before 3am on January 19 on Dudley Road.
The car was left wedged to the lamp post, with witnesses reporting seeing two men and a woman getting out of the car after the crash and getting into another car which drove off.
Paramedics were called to the scene at 2.59am to find the car unoccupied when they arrived.
A police spokesperson said: "Police are investigating after a Subaru Impreza car hit a lamp post on Dudley Road, Wall Heath on Saturday 19 January at around 2.50am.
"Witnesses reported seeing two men and a woman getting out of the car after the crash and getting into another car, which drove off.
