THERE was a welcome and musical change to usual lessons last week, at the Trinity High School in Redditch.
On Thursday January 17, the pupils were visited by The Power of Muzik, described as "an innovative new programme created to empower and inspire young people through music education".
More than that, The Power of Muzik, a collective of emerging musical stars, are making waves in the industry and will support Boyzone on an upcoming tour.
A spokesman said: "Created by CeCe Sammy, celebrity vocal coach and mentor to rising stars of The X Factor and The Voice, the Power of Muzik uses music therapy techniques and powerful messaging within music to educate and spread positive advice to young people going through personal challenges, mental health issues and bullying.
"Leading the show was Asher Knight, a rising music star, and original member of the Power of Muzik collective, who experienced physical and emotional bullying first hand."
