TODAY’S old picture dates back to the May 1997, when Guy Lees-Milne, owner of Miss Monroe’s Bar in Foregate Street had just spent £70,000 on refurbishing it. The decor of the bar, previously Cellar 43, paid homage to the Hollywood legend after which it was named.
