KIND-hearted children from Bromsgrove Preparatory School have presented a cheque to the Worcestershire Animal Shelter and Midlands Air Ambulance following a week of fundraising activities.
The pupils spent their breaktimes and lunchtimes running summer fete style stalls, with activities such as bottle flipping, tombolas, guessing the number of sweets in the jar and name the teddy.
A spokesman said: "It was fantastic to see so many pupils enjoying the events as they were raising money. Splat the teacher was an age-old favourite, with teachers enduring buckets of water over their heads in the name of charity."
Head of science and charities co-ordinator Sam Jeffrey added: “It was wonderful to see a huge range of activities and events planned by our prep school pupils during charities week. They showed a great deal of initiative and fantastic fundraising skills."
The total amount raised was more than £4,450 which will be shared between Worcestershire Animal Rescue Shelter and Midlands Air Ambulance.
