GIRLS football teams from across the county competed for silverware at Edgar Street earlier this month in an action-packed finals day.
The Herefordshire Girls League finals took place on May Bank Holiday Monday with all eight clubs producing a winning team.
All the games were very closely contested and two of the finals went to penalty shootouts which proved both nerve-racking and exciting for players, coaches and spectators.
Winning the under-eight Shield was Ross Junior Colts who edged out Tupsley Tigers in the final.
It was an all Tupsley final in the under-eight Cup with the Vixens beating the Pumas.
Tupsley also showed their prowess in the under-10 Cup with their Pumas beating Leominster while Belmont clinched the Shield from Ross Junior Colts.
Westfields were triumphant in the under-12 Cup when Ross Junior Colts were beaten finalists.
It was an all Leominster final in the under-12 Shield when Town beat Colts in the final.
Hinton clinched their first silverware in the under-14 cup after beating Belmont.
In one of the closest finals Lads Club Pumas beating Ledbury after a penalty shoot-out to win the under-14 Shield.
Tupsley Tigers were also taken to penalties before winning the under-16 Cup from Leominster.
Finally Ledbury clinched their first title of the day in the under-16 Shield after beating Belmont.
