A MAN from Kidderminster stole Sudocrem and an £80 razor from Sainsbury's.
Nicholas Walker, of Champions Way, pleaded guilty to two counts of theft when he appeared at Kidderminster Magistrates' Court on Monday (June 24).
The 37-year-old stole a razor worth £80 from Sainsbury's in Kidderminster on June 18, and Sudocrem worth £15.50 from the same store on June 21.
Both crimes were committed while Walker was serving a suspended sentence.
Magistrates jailed him for six weeks in total and ordered him to pay a £115 victim surcharge.
On June 21, a Stourport man was fined £180 for resisting a police officer in Kidderminster.
Appearing at Kidderminster Magistrates' Court, Robert Smith, of Millgate Close, admitted resisting PC Bunce, of West Mercia Police, on April 2 this year.
The 25-year-old pleaded not guilty to assaulting PC Bunce and the charge was dismissed due to there being no evidence.
Smith was fined £180 and ordered to pay a £30 victim surcharge plus £135 in court costs.
At Kidderminster Magistrates' Court on June 20, a man was ordered to repay the cost of a hedge trimmer he stole from Homebase.
Gene Anslow, of Winchat Grove, admitted stealing a Ryobi 600-watt hedge trimmer worth £99.99 from the Kidderminster branch on April 6.
He was ordered to pay £99.99 compensation plus £70 to the Crown Prosecution Service.
