A STUDENT from Tenbury Wells has been celebrating after a clean sweep of As in her A Levels.

Sarah Blake picked up the results yesterday at Hereford Cathedral School and will now take up a place at Warwick University to study biochemistry.

She said: “I joined here in Year 9 from Moor Park. I really like it at HCS and the Sixth Form has been really good because you get one-on-one tutoring a lot, especially in French.

"I was expecting a B for French so I’m so happy I got an A.”

Overall, more than 70 per cent of grades awarded to students at the fee-paying school were A*-B.

Nearly half of all students secured nothing less than a B grade in their exams.
