TODAY'S picture from the files of the Worcester News marks the occasion in August 1978 that a missing font stopper from the church at the rural village of Kilpeck was returned to its home. The stopper, pictured with (from left) Rev David Johnson, Tony Manning and Morris Meadmore, has been found more than four years after it went missing, in a nearby river.
