COMMUNITY organisations in Worcestershire are celebrating after being awarded a total of almost £700,000 in National Lottery funding.
Thirty five community projects in Worcestershire are to benefit from thousands in funding, including Fladbury Village Hall, that has received £6,211 to purchase new furniture and a hearing loop to improve the community hall.

Meanwhile Eckington Church of England First School has received £10,000 to install new playground equipment, aiming to create a leisure and outdoor activity space for young pupils.
And Overbury Village Hall has received £10,000 to be used to refurbish the village hall.
