A TOUCH of the Scandinavian came to Malvern when the wedding took place between a daughter of the town and a resident of Norway.
Vebjørn Halvfjerdvik married Lucy Jordan, who is from a fifth-generation Malvern family and attended the Chase School.
The couple married at St Wulstan’s Church, Little Malvern, and the ceremony was followed by a reception at Wellington Health Memorial Village Hall.
There were 25 Norwegian guests, who all wore traditional national costume for the occasion.
The Norwegian flag was hoisted on the flagpole at the village hall to welcome the visitors
The couple are now returning to Edinburgh where they live and work, having originally met while at university there.
