TODAY'S picture from the archives of the Worcester News dates back to August 1998, then the Wagon Wheel Inn at Grimley was having its thatched roof completely re-done. The work was being done by Nigel Saunders of Alfrick, who is pictured on the roof putting in place the thatch, which was made of Austrian water weeds and expected to last at least 40 years.
