A WOMAN suffered serious injuries and was airlifted to hospital after a fire spread to a hedge at a rural property.
West Midlands Ambulance Service were called by the fire service shortly before 2pm this afternoon to Bleathwood, near Brimfield in north Herefordshire.
"We sent one ambulance and the Midlands Air Ambulance from Strensham," a spokesperson said.
"Crews treated one woman who had suffered serious injuries.
"She was given treatment on the scene before being taken to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Birmingham."
Hereford & Worcester Fire and Rescue Service said it appeared a fire had spread from an incinerator to a hedge row.
