AN inquest into the death of a woman found dead after a fire at her home in Kingswinford has begun.
Black Country coroner Zafar Siddique opened and adjourned the hearing into the death of Gillian Nash on September 12.
Mrs Nash's body was discovered by firefighters in a downstairs room at her home in The Knoll at around 9pm.
The 64-year-old grandmother , who suffered with MS, had been using the downstairs room as a bedroom.
Mr Siddique said her husband returned home to find the room full of smoke and he was unable to reach his wife.
Firefighters found Mrs Nash in the room and tragically she could not be revived.
Investigators say the fire started as a result on an electrical fault in a television.
