REDDITCH Borough Council’s free Fireworks and Music Spectacular is going ‘to the moon and back’ this Bonfire Night, with themed firework music to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the moon landing.

Hosted by Elliott Webb from BBC Hereford and Worcester, there will be live music from Abba Bellas and Save the Date, as well as a fun fair, activities, and food and drink stands.

Cllr Mike Rouse, the borough council’s portfolio holder for leisure, said: “We are very lucky to be able to provide this great event to our residents, a firm favourite on the local calendar, and I thank the generous taxpayers of Redditch once again.

“As a family man myself, I know what it means to be able to take the young ones to an event like this, and with the moon theme this year I know we are all going to have a fantastic time.”

The spectacular is in Arrow Valley Country Park on Tuesday, November 5.

The funfair and music starts at 6pm with the fireworks at 7.30pm.

Entry is free.

Return buses start up at 8.15pm, and then depart every 15 minutes until the last bus leaves at 9.15pm.
