POLICE have finally moved on more than a dozen travellers who turned up on Padgets Lane in Moons Moat earlier this week.
Travellers arrived on a car park on the road on Tuesday, October 22, according to residents and local business owners.
Some said they have been threatening staff who work nearby and that employees had allegedly been told to to stay away.
Others had been quick on social media to urge people to avoid the area.
The Advertiser reported that police had been contacted over the issue, but the travellers hadn't been moved.
Posting on social media earlier today (Friday, October 26), officers said they have now gone.
A spokesman said: "Local policing have served a Section 61 notice on the occupants of the unlawful encampment on Padgets Lane Redditch and they have left the area.
"They cannot return to this location for three months otherwise they commit an offence."
