A 57-year-old man has denied making an indecent image of a child and possession of more than 700 extreme pornographic images involving animals.
Stephen Prosser of Kestrel Road, Hereford, appeared at Worcester Crown Court yesterday where the charges were formally put to him by the clerk.
He denied possession of 704 extreme pornographic images which were 'grossly offensive, disgusting or otherwise of an obscene character' between January 1, 2015 and May 25, 2017.
Prosser further denied making a single category A image of a child between the same dates. Category A images of children are considered the most serious as they show penetrative sexual activity.
Giles Nelson prosecuted the case. Prosser was represented by Mark Thompson. Judge Nicholas Cole heard the case.
A trial date was fixed for June 15 next year. Prosser was granted unconditional bail.
