A REDDITCH man has admitted contacting a child for sexual satisfaction and possession of hundreds if indecent images of children.

Scott Bellamy, aged 36, of High Land Way, indicated a plea of guilty to making around 500 perverted pictures including 269 in the most extreme category.

Bellamy also indicated a plea of guilty to making communications of a sexual nature with a person under 16 for the purposes of sexual gratification.

Worcestershire magistrates sent Bellamy for sentencing at Worcester Crown Court in December, he was further ordered to register with police under the Sexual Offences Act.

Also before Worcestershire magistrates:

Joshua Bruton, aged 23, of Perryfields Close, Redditch admitted driving with excess alcohol in his blood plus driving without valid insurance or an MOT certificate.

Bruton was banned from driving for 17 months and fined a total of £598, ordered to pay £105 costs and a £30 victim surcharge.

Samuel Cavey, aged 37, of Loxley Close, Redditch pleaded guilty to driving with excess alcohol in his breath.

He was banned from driving for 12 months, fined £366 and instructed to pay £105 costs and a £36 victim surcharge.

Steven Bytheway, aged 40, of Winforton Close, Redditch, was fined £467, ordered to pay £85costs, a £46 victim surcharge and banned from driving for 42 days for driving without due care and attention.

Bytheway was convicted in his absence after the court heard he was eating a burger while driving while driving an Audi and hit the car in front.

The collision caused his car to cross into oncoming traffic and crash into a vehicle travelling in the other direction.

The other car, also an Audi was written off and the driver suffered soft tissue injuries to her neck and back.

Susan Cooper, aged 51, of Edgeworth Close, pleaded guilty to leaving threatening voicemail messages and was ordered to pay her victim £100 compensation.

Cooper also admitted assaulting another woman was also given a community order requiring her to carry out 15 days rehabilitation activity.

Kieran Danks, aged 25, of Kingley Avenue, was banned from driving for three years, fined £200, ordered to pay £200 costs and £30 to victim services.

Danks admitted driving with an excess amount of a controlled drug in his blood.
