One of the UK's most popular violinists, ESO leader Zoë Beyers, plans to celebrate Christmas in Worcester, with a concert.
She will direct Christmas at Huntingdon Hall, on Saturday December 14, from 7.30pm.
A spokesman said: "This concert featuring seasonal favourites and evergreen works of the string orchestra repertoire by Corelli, Bach, Warlock and Vaughan Williams.
"Beyers shares soloist duties with the acclaimed young British oboe virtuoso, James Turnbull."
Since her appointment as Leader of the English Symphony Orchestra in 2017, violinist Zoë Beyers has quickly established herself as a critical and audience favourite.
The spokesman added: " Zoë started her professional life as Sub-Principal First Violin in the Scottish Chamber Orchestra and for the last eight years she’s been the Associate Leader of the CBSO and guest leader of the BBC Philharmonic, BBC Symphony and Philharmonia orchestras. Zoë has had the privilege of playing great repertoire with some of the greatest conductors alive."
