A YOUTH football team has celebrated their latest win – a sponsorship deal with a leading Black Country firm.

Black Country Phoenix under 13s have netted a deal with award-winning Gravity Risk Services.

Stourbridge-based Gravity handed over £500 to sponsor the team’s kit.

The club, which plays in the Stourbridge and District Youth League, now hopes the deal with Gravity will help them scale new heights in the league.

Mark Goodyear, Black Country Phoenix under 13s manager, said: “We’re delighted and so grateful Gravity stepped forward and offered to pay for a new kit for the team. Sports clubs like this have a really positive impact on children’s lives and Gravity have played a huge part in that.”

Dale Collett, managing director of Gravity Risk Services, added: “It was an absolute privilege to be able to sponsor the team. As a local business it’s important we do what we can to support the local community. We hope the new strip brings them lots of luck on the pitch."
