A WANTED man was arrested after police chased a suspected stolen car through Brierley Hill and Netherton.
Two arrests were made after a suspected stolen car was chased while driving on three tyres after it crashed into a kerb.
The car was spotted by police on Highbridge Road in Netherton yesterday (January 16).
Police pursued the car along Narrowboat Way, before the driver smashed into a kerb which punctured one of the tyres.
The driver then continued at speed to Pedmore Road in Brierley Hill, even attempting to drive the wrong way along the road, despite only having three working tyres.
Police, along with a member of the public, then chased the driver and passenger on foot after they escaped from the car, before arresting them both.
The driver, who was wanted for a recall to prison, was arrested on suspicion of theft of motor vehicle, dangerous driving, failing to stop and being concerned in the supply of drugs.
The passenger was arrested on suspicion of theft of motor vehicle and being concerned in the supply of the drugs.
