A DESPERATE Quarry Bank family is offering a £500 reward for the safe return of their much-loved cat which they fear has been stolen.

Grey and white cat Shnoobles was last seen on Saturday morning at 9.30am at his home in Watchman Avenue.

Owner Jamie Danks, who runs a scrap disposal business, said the family is so desperate to get the two-year-old moggie back, they will give a reward of £500 to anyone who can give information leading to his safe return.

Jamie, aged 49, said: "He's a lovely cat.

"He's really fluffy. My granddaughter has been crying all day at school, it's absolutely broken her heart. So I thought I'd got to try to do something more.

"The £500 is nothing if we could get him back.

"I've done everything I can, we've contacted the RSPCA, rescue centres, put it out on the Nextdoor app.

"I think someone might have stolen him because he doesn't go very far.

"He's a stunning cat, he has long-ish grey fur and a white bib.

"He's a very big cat and loves his food.

"We've had him since he was a kitten.

"Even if he has been run over or something has happened to him, we just want to know."
