WITH awards season in full swing, we have asked our readers what their favourite film over the last year was.

Majority of the Worcester News readers suggested the film 1917, which is a newly released war film directed, co-written, and produced by Sam Mendes.
The film stars George MacKay and Dean-Charles Chapman, with Mark Strong, Andrew Scott, Richard Madden, Claire Duburcq, Colin Firth, and Benedict Cumberbatch in supporting roles.
Hugh Williams said: “1917 is my favourite so far. The Lighthouse is very good too."
Richie Dollochin said: “1917 is a fantastic film.”
Pat Johnson said: “1917 so far, brilliant film.”
Kevin Andrews said: “1917. Just brilliant!”
Roger Barry said: “1917 - we will remember them.”
Jan Buchan and Wally Common also said 1917.
Pollyann Poyner said: “1917 and The Gentleman were both very good when I saw them.”
