CCTV captured the moment a masked man robbed the Spar store in Stourport while armed with a knife.

The man, whose face was covered by a black ski mask, targeted the shop in Lower Lickhill Road at around 9pm on Saturday, March 21.

Police are now urging witnesses to come forward and have released a CCTV photograph and description of the robber.

Detective Inspector Lisa Duncan, of West Mercia Police, said: “The suspect is described as a white, probably in his mid-20s with an average build and a local accent.

"He was wearing a black hooded jacket with white zip and either paint or plaster marks on the jacket.

"He was wearing dark coloured jeans which were workman-like in appearance with grey pumps or trainers with a white sole.

“The suspect also wearing a blue hooded jumper underneath his outer coat with the hood up and a black balaclava or ski mask as well as orange grip handler-style gardening or masonry gloves with black palms.”
