As classes, courses, workshops and performance comes to an abrupt halt around the country, the creative community in Herefordshire is hard at work moving much of what it does onto digital platforms.

Tim Evans of Powerhouse was just weeks away from opening the doors of a city centre space, a converted shop providing a pop-up writers' studio, and creative development space to showcase unheard stories in the region, 21st Century Tales, an ambitious community project exploring the last 20 years of local history through new writing, live performance and digital work.

With venue-based activities on hold, Tim reports that he will shortly be launching a number of creative exercises and writing challenges online, which he anticipates going live within the week. Sign up at www.powerhouse.company.

Also launching this week is herefordshire100com, where courses, classes and creativity will 'bring together Herefordshire's creative community in this time of social distancing'.
