A SUPERMARKET has donated a food package to an elderly ‘confused’ man.
Yesterday (Monday) police were made aware of a vulnerable man who was disorientated in the street.
Police say it was the first time the man had left his apartment in Malvern since before Christmas.
The man, who has no friends or family locally, does not have a bed to sleep on or carpet in his apartment.
The supermarket Morrisons in Malvern donated a food package for the man and officers have delivered it to him this morning.
South Worcestershire Cops posted on Facebook: “Yesterday we were made aware of a very vulnerable elderly male in Malvern who was confused and disorientated in the street.
“Once officers worked out where he lived it was clear he was struggling.
“Morrison's in Malvern kindly donated a food package for the male and PCSO's have delivered it to him this morning.
“A number of agencies have been made aware to assist him going forward.
“Please keep an eye out for elderly and vulnerable neighbours in this difficult time. They may not know who to ask for help.”
