THE firefighters in Tenbury are doing their bit to help to keep children occupied whilst they are stuck at home.
They are asking children to make ‘silly face’ drawings and send them to the fire station in Burford.
It is all part of their bid to support the local community during the present difficult time.
Tenbury fire fighters usually stage community activities throughout the year including charity car washing and helping with the bonfire.
But fire services are also asking people to avoid putting any extra strain on the service that will itself be affected by absences as a result of fire fighters having to self-isolate.
With the onset of Easter and warmer weather there is concern about bonfires that may be started in order to burn rubbish especially now that council waste disposal sites are closed.
