WORK: The M5 Junction 6 work
EVENING and night-time road closures are set to take place from Monday for the M5 junction 6 improvement scheme.
As part of the scheme and for the work to be completed safely the following traffic management will be put in place.
- An extra lane will be added to the roundabout.
- Traffic signals will be installed on the A449 and the A4538 Pershore Lane south approaches.
- Narrow Lanes will be put in place on the roundabout, NB Exit slip.
- 50mph speed limit in place reducing down to 30mph.
- Nigh-time off-peak (8pm to 6am) full closures and lane closures.
- Fully signed diversion routes in place for any full carriageway closures.
Drivers have been advised to allow extra time for their journey.
