A 42-YEAR-OLD man has been arrested on suspicion of murder in connection with the disappearance of a Bromsgrove woman.

Zobaidah Salangy went missing after telling her family she was going out for a jog last Sunday (March 29)

The 28-year-old was last seen at her home address in Charford, Bromsgrove.

A missing persons appeal was launched on Saturday, and police have since confirmed that a man has been arrested on suspicion of murder and remains in custody.

Detectives investigating the disappearance of Zobaidah Salangy are still appealing for information.
