A STOURBRIDGE mum has organised a fun bug hunt to brighten up daily exercise outings for children and young families.

Mum-of-two Cherie Didlick, who is also a foster parent, has organised the Withymoor Bug Busters challenge through her Hearts of Gold Facebook page.

Twenty different germ pictures have been hung around Withymoor Park, Brompton Park and the Withymoor lake.

People are invited to seek out the different images while enjoying their daily exercise outings but anyone taking part is urged to stay safe, remember social distancing rules and not to touch the germs.

Cherie, aged 44, who works at Sainsbury's Amblecote, said: "I decided to do it just for the children in the community, to give them a little more excitement on their daily walks with their families. I did one at Easter which I received some lovely comments for so decided I'd do another relevant to the current climate.

"All the little ones in our lives have had to put up with so many changes lately and most probably don't even fully understand the reasons why so I wanted to do something fun they can join in while staying safe."

She added: "The pictures will be hidden on Thursday evening ready for a Friday start and we will probably leave them there for about a week."
