STAFF on the children's ward at Russells Hall Hospital in Dudley turned the clock back today (Tuesday) for a tea party to celebrate International Nurses' Day.
Morrison's supermarket in Kingswinford generously donated cakes for the party which was held to mark the annual May 12 celebration of the birthday of nursing heroine Florence Nightingale.
A spokesman for the Dudley Group NHS Foundation Trust said: "She would have been proud of the amazing dedication of our wonderful nurses and midwives right now."
The trust is asking people to 'Shine a Light' in their windows for its nurses at 8pm tonight to show their thanks for staff working on the frontline in the fight against coronavirus.
