SIX more men have been charged with robbery offences following a raid at a suspected Brierley Hill cannabis farm that ended with two men being fatally shot with a crossbow.

Three men were previously charged with the murders of 19-year-old Khuzaimah Douglas and Waseem Ramzan, aged 36, who were shot during the aftermath of the Pensnett Road raid in February.

Detectives investigating the murder have now charged a further six men with a range of burglary matters allegedly connected to the cannabis factory robbery.

Theo Bailey aged 28, from Victoria Road, Handsworth, was charged on Tuesday, May 12 with aggravated burglary and Troy Parkins aged 25, from Claughton Road Dudley, was charged with two counts of aggravated burglary.

Omari Beckford, aged 25 from Lewis Street, Walsall was charged with two counts of conspiracy to commit aggravated burglary and a further charge of conspiracy to commit aggravated burglary, relating to a separate series of cannabis factory robberies.

Police charged a further three men with two counts of conspiracy to commit aggravated burglary last night (May 13).

Amir Naisiri, aged 22, from Swinford Road, Selly Oak, Jason Kavanagh, aged 20, from Swinford Road, Weoley Castle and Godfree Mbugoniwia, aged 22, from Brunswick Road, Sparkhill, are due to appear at Wolverhampton Magistrates Court today (May 14).

Four men were also charged earlier this year with conspiracy to burgle the house at Pensnett Road.

Saghawat Ramzan, aged 46, and his son Omar Ramzan, aged 23, have previously been charged with two counts murder and are in prison on remand.

Last month police charged a third man, Sageer Mohammed, aged 33, of Gorsty Avenue, Brierley Hill, with two counts of murder.

Detective Chief Inspector Jim Munro from the West Midlands Police homicide team said: “Our investigation has been detailed as we remain committed to finding out exactly what happened that fatal early morning.

"Two men sadly lost their lives and we’re determined to bring those responsible to justice.”
