FIRE crews tackled a large canal side fire in Kidderminster yesterday (Friday, May 22).
A blaze broke out just off Lisle Avenue just after 7pm and people were asked to avoid the area to allow crews to extinguish the fire.
According to one eyewitness, 'fireworks' could be heard whilst firefighters tackled the blaze.
