TRIBUTES have been paid to driving instructor Adrian Care. His family called him a “pillar of the community” after his “sad passing.”

They described Adrian, 51, of Blackpole, as a “beautiful, wonderful man, an amazing, passionate and caring driving instructor.”

Adrian began his ten year driving career back in 2010 after seeing an advert asking people to sign up, he turned to his family and said ‘I could do that’ and had their full support.

He became one of the most popular and dedicated driving instructors in Worcester. His family said Adrian wasn’t just a driving instructor he was a friend and mentor to all of his pupils. Adrian’s passion and commitment to the people he taught didn’t just stop after they passed their test.

Adrian’s family attributed his success in the driving world to the fact he was able to connect with people deeply, he genuinely cared for the people he taught, it wasn’t just a job to him. His popularity has been proven by the overwhelming support the family has received.

The family said fellow driving instructors said they looked up to Adrian, he would help them in both their professional and personal lives.

He was at the top of his industry say the family, and his former pupils have come forward to share how devastated they are.

In his personal life the family described him as an entertainer, he liked making people smile, other people’s joy was his joy. Adrian greeted every day with a smile and had a loud infectious laugh that could fill a room. He had many quirks, the family said they sat for hours on Sunday retelling stories of Adrian and the amazing personality he was.

Adrian was also extremely talented and creative, a trait which reflected in his work. He was always busy with a project on the go, including building the family kitchen. He was also a keen artist and musician. His family said they were tremendously proud of him and his many accomplishments.
