FOUR wily foxes from The Fox Inn, Broadwell, are taking an early morning tour of the golf course to raise cash for Macmillan Cancer.
The men, all members of The Wychwood Golf Club, are taking part in the cancer charity’s Longest Day Challenge. On Monday, July 27, they’re teeing off at 5am and hope to play 72 holes before dark.
Ed Simpson, landlord of The Fox Inn, said: "We’ve all been touched by cancer and we thought this was a great way to support Macmillan, which does amazing work to help cancer patients and their families.

"We’re not the best golfers but we’re enthusiastic and we’re passionate about supporting Macmillan.
"Seventy-two holes will test us and we’ll definitely need a few pints back at The Fox Inn when we’ve completed our challenge."
So far, the team has raised around £1,500 and supporters can back them on the Macmillan page at longestdaygolf.macmillan.org.uk/Team/thefoxinn?fbclid=IwAR1VKuU4CMA4lMWBXfMvJzq_A7IPOfmfixvSm0FoF6cuIBRV3UN4IIZXda4
