EASTNOR will be hosting one of the most star-laden cricket teams ever to visit Herefordshire when they take on the Lashings World Xl at Clenchers Mill Lane tomorrow.

Four former Test captains are among the stars taking part with the former West Indies skipper Courtney Walsh, exPakistan captains Inzamam-ul-Haq and Mohhamad Yousuf, as well as John Emburey, who skippered England, all lining up.

Also in the Lashings side will be Indian opening batsman Wasim Jaffer, ex-England pacemen Devon Malcolm, Andy Caddick and Ed Giddins, former England spinner Chris Schofield, Australian all-rounder Ian Harvey and Pakistan mystery spinner Saqlain Mushtaq.

The squad is managed by another former England paceman John Lever. Between the Lashings squad, they have 594 Test caps, 23,054 Test runs, 55 Test centuries and 1,250 Test wickets.

The match begins at 2.30pm, entry costs £5 and there is free parking.
