BECKY Wreyford's Malvern training paid off at the School Games National finals.

The Pentathlon Hereford member collected a laser run bronze in the under 16s individual, silver in the team event and bronze in the relay.

She impressed with her consistent shooting thanks to coaching from former Olympic pentathlon coach Bernie Moss at Malvern College.

Earlier this year Wreyford was fourth in her age group at the National Pentathlon Championships.

Her fencing has been boosted by coach John Rees at Malvern Hills Sword Fencing Club.

Wreyford helped Wales to fourth team in the Commonwealth Junior and Cadet Fencing Championships in Newcastle.

Individually, the teenager was 18th cadet and she starts this season with a Great Britain ranking of 25.
