MALVERN Radar lost 2-1 at Worcester Saints Reserves in McDonald's Worcester and District League Sunday Division Three.
They could count themselves unlucky not to have got at least a share of the spoils.
Radar squandered a number of chances in a bright start with Kieran Smith and Adam Buckley shooting at the keeper.
Then a Saints cross from the right wing was not dealt with and Michael Kirby calmly stroked the ball past keeper Ryan Williams.
Radar dominated the second half and Smith was denied a solo goal for offside.
Poor defending at a corner saw Nathan Grogan increase Saints' lead before Buckley rounded off a fine individual display to reduce the arrears.
Radar's man of the match was Jake Norris.
