MALVERN Radar lost 3-1 at home to a strong Droitwich Spa BGFC Town side in McDonald's Worcester and District League Sunday Division Three.
The sides were evenly matched and largely cancelled each other out during a scoreless first half.
The second period was more open with both sides trading attacks and the deadlock was broken in the 52nd minute when the visitors took the lead through Tom Daccus.
But Radar responded immediately when Adam Rushton found space at the far post to squeeze the ball home inside the left-hand upright.
Callum Hanson restored the visitors' lead by capitalising upon a poor Radar free-kick.
In reply Ryan Scullion's fierce half-volley eluded the entire visiting defence only to rebound off the bar and back into play.
In the final minutes as the Malvern side pushed for an equaliser Joe Somers confirmed the Droitwich side's victory with a last-minute goal which was tough on the hosts.
