LEDBURY will travel to Kidderminster for the final tournament of the Midlands Ladies' Touch Rugby League on Sunday.
Ian Hunter’s side lie in sixth in the combined north and south Midlands league that consists of 16 clubs after an impressive display at Drybrook.
Boosted by a number of new players Ledbury came second in the tournament, narrowly missing out to Pershore by one try in the penultimate game.
Hunter said: “After another slow start the squad went from strength to strength with a mighty effort against Bredon in the play-offs.
“Once again Pershore triumphed but only by one try and with only eight players playing the tournament, we were somewhat spent.
“The defence was vastly improved over the tournament and testament to the ‘they shall not pass’ attitude Ledbury showed.”
