SIMON Richardson was first home for Malvern Joggers in their last champions league race of the year.
On a cold, cloudy, dry day 24 Joggers did the ninth Croome Capability Canter organised by Worcester's Black Pear Joggers.
The popular race attracted over 300 runners who tackled a 6.5-mile undulating off-road course around Croome Park.
Richardson clocked 43 minutes 20 seconds followed by Ben Toon (46.58), Andrew Brown (51.20), Mark Walker (52.02), Andrew Gallagher (53.14), Ian Walwyn (55.09), Warwick Taylor (55.14), Mark Hartland (55.18), Jonathon Fligelstone (57.58), Lucy Gallagher (57.59), Peter Mayne (58.59), Alison Priest (59.08), Julie Caseley (59.12), Amanda Duncan (59.49), Julia Heron (1.02.14), Emma White (1.10.30), Lynn Forrester-Walker (1.10.31), Charly Lowndes (1.12.48), Neil Coleman (1.13.15), Gerry Taggart (1.15.44), Lyn Coleman (1.18.27), Ian Whitlock (1.22.35), Jodie Moffatt (1.24.38) and Susan Lewis (1.24.38).
The Howling Bull Run, a six-mile multi-terrain event along the Wye Valley Walk, was completed by Joggers' Ian Fuller in 59.08 and Suzie Lane in 1.03.08.
