WELLAND Juniors Lions under 12s are enjoying their best ever start to a season.
After recruiting five new players in the summer, Welland have impressed in the Ambassador Evesham Football League and now they have a new kit.
Coach Dan Pallett said: “With so many new players we needed a new kit and luckily one of our parents stepped forward to sponsor the team.
“The boys look great and it means so much more to have one of our loyal fans helping out.
"The boys are doing really well in training and it’s no surprise that has led to better performances on the pitch.
"I’m proud of the way they welcomed so many new players in the summer.
"It meant the new boys felt part of the team straight away.
"We now have 17 so one of the dad’s Steve Tame has stepped forward to help me with the coaching.
"And the parents are all so supportive.
"This is the boys fourth season together and it’s the best yet.”
