SIXTH-PLACED Malvern Town will be looking to get back to winning ways tomorrow when they make the short trip to Pegasus Juniors in West Midlands Regional League Premier Division (3pm).

Spirits were high at the HDanywhere Community Stadium after back-to-back league victories.

But they were sent crashing to a 3-0 home defeat at the hands of Wednesfield last Saturday.

The miserable afternoon also saw striker Matt Turner receive a red card following a first-half melee.

Joint-boss Dene Whittal-Williams was frustrated with the result but has urged his players to get back on track as they visit a Pegasus side who sit second from bottom with three wins from their 19 league games.

“We need to pick ourselves up, dust ourselves down and be ready to go again,” said co-manager, Dene Whittal-Williams.

“There was a positive vibe amongst the lads going into last weekend’s game and we gave it a go in the first half.

“Going down to ten men had a big impact on our attacking threat and in the end it was a disappointing way for our unbeaten run to come to an end.

“There’s no time to feel sorry for ourselves; we have to get back out there and get back into winning ways.”
